Bridging you with EXCITING work.
World Missionary Koinonia is a mission organization that began in 2008 with a vision and calling from God for missionary kids (MKs). WMK was formed to respond to God's calling in raising up a small population of people who were strategically spread throughout the world.
It is our prayer to be used as powerful tools in world missions.
For the past four years, WMK has mainly focused on igniting adult MKs in the nations through worship. Thus, conferences were held in France, Germany, USA, and Australia. Igniting will continue and beginning from December 2013, WMK will serve MK youths in South Asia.
MK ministries are different and unique in every continent.
Currently, WMK has the following financial prayer requests for 2013:
1. Necessities (facility, missionary support) to be filled for WMK's Europe hub in Berlin, Germany, and the international base in Seoul, Korea
2. Staff financial support
3. Conference / Camp support
“At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister and to pronounce blessings in his name, as they still do today” (Deut. 10:8).
It is clearly evident in the Bible of how the Levites illustrated the lives we are all called to live. They were given foundational directions when they were set apart and identified for their calling.
By following their guidelines, we have established our priorities.
1. “To carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord” = To serve Him in worship and be carriers of His glory
2. “To stand before the Lord to minister” = To focus our first love, our highest attention, our greatest energy, our deepest passion on Him and not on work
3. “Pronounce blessings in his name” = To bless His name and praise him for what he is doing and what he is going to do in the nations
There are currently great needs for staff at WMK. Serve through us in raising more Levites!
Within the Christian community, it is a known fact that missionaries or pastors do not have abundant finances to support their children's university education. Most usually, churches support missionary kids until they enter university. The burden on both parents and MKs affects the mission field. Parents, if eligible for a loan, will not be able to sustain their ministry and life while paying off debts. MKs will either have to receive full scholarship or grants, but these are only posibilities based on qualifications, and the numbers are limited.
This mission project on providing scholarship to MKs will be of huge assistance to missionaries.
Details on scholarship will be posted on WMK's site <www.worldmk.org>.
Each year WMK plans to organize a mothers retreat for our missionary mothers in Seoul, Korea. This retreat will be for mother's who have been on the field for more than 25 years. It will be an opportunity for the children, MKs, to serve our mothers and support them emotionally and spiritually. MKs will be serving as staff.
So many of our mothers left to the mission field in response to our father's calling for missions. Our mothers are at times in the shadows and are not recognized enough for their support and work.
The mothers retreat will be two weeks to recharge their spirits before they return back to the mission field.
